Waste Pin tells your circular recovery truck what's on the street and where to find it.
Two trucks, two routes, one map.
Share waste coordinates on a public map and plan collection routes across companies or with your team.

Problem
Furniture and other items worth hundreds or thousands of dollars are destroyed on a massive scale every day.
With the right systems and incentives, these items can quickly be brought back to market and the resulting impact measured.
Put the circular economy into practice in waste management and make public authorities proud of your work.

How Waste Pin works

1. Record the collection point
Sign in to publish coordinates. Your team can review the location before selecting stops for a collection route.

2. Review points on the map
Review reports, select collection points and request a route. Check local access, restrictions and conditions before travelling.

3. Keep useful materials moving
Documenting discarded items and coordinating collection helps teams assess what can be collected and reused. Waste Pin provides the reporting and route planning tools; people make the collection decisions.
Measure your impact
Impact indicators are planned. Automatic environmental and value calculations are not available yet.
Frequently asked questions
Will my drivers have to use another app?
Reporting an item takes just three taps: photo, location, submit. No training or manuals required. And even if your drivers don't use it, the system still works with reports submitted by other people.
What if I don't have a recovery truck?
You can use Waste Pin to plan regular waste collection or to see what's available before deciding whether adding a second vehicle makes financial sense. Many waste management companies start with a single area and one shift.
Does this replace my existing route planning software?
No. Waste Pin identifies what needs to be collected and where it is. Your existing route planning software can continue calculating the actual driving routes. If you already use one, Waste Pin provides the collection locations.
Where does the data come from?
From people submitting reports: your crews, local residents and property managers. Every report includes a photo and coordinates, so your team can see what's there before sending a truck.
What if reports are fake or duplicated?
Every reported location is reviewed before assignment, and duplicates are grouped by location. A false report can be dismissed in seconds — that's why every report includes a photo.
Who keeps the recovered item?
Your company. Items can be donated or sold to nearby stores or donation centers, with a record of what was recovered and where it came from.
How much does it cost, and how is it implemented?
We're currently in beta. You can start in a specific area without changing the rest of your operations. Get in touch and we'll discuss your needs.
Do I have to switch providers?
No. Waste Pin adds an information layer to your existing operations. It doesn't require changing your contracts, trucks or current software.
Start with one route.
Choose an area, report the locations you already know and discover how much recoverable value is out there. If it works, scale up.
